Anonymous asked:
Oh no how dare people reblog pictures that they like glorifying the human body. Scandal.

tblaberge:

My love is not bound to another’s body, so my mind should not be bound to it either. The only glorification that I will be doing is to God, and my eyes (though they have failed in the past, but now are redeemed.) will only belong to my wife.

So no, I will not back down my beliefs that I think nudity is wrong. I do not think the body is bad, because we are made in the Image of God, but I will not worship it, lust after it, adore it, or give any foothold of it in my life. We are more than flesh and blood, and sometimes that is lost in this world of instant gratification.

I want to respect people, without making them objects; and when I see pictures of half naked people, I can’t help but think that we are not looking atthe person, but rather the shell of a person.

You can agree or disagree, that is just something that I know to be true.
